CHRIS PHELPS
was born into a wine-loving family and went on to earn a degree in enology at U.C. Davis, study viticulture and enology at the University of Bordeaux, train at Moueix properties, oversee production at Swanson Vineyards, red winemaking at Caymus Vineyards, associate winemaker at Inglenook Winery in Rutherford, and has been producing his own Napa Cabernet Sauvignon under the Ad Vivum label since 2007. He and his wife, Maria, live in St. Helena, Napa Valley.
