is a Jamaican born and San Francisco-raised queer woman of color. Being at the crossroads of multiple cultures is complex; Jamaican food keeps Nunes in sync with her identity and memories of her childhood. Growing her roots in San Francisco, Marsha lives with her partner Stara, her puppy Jaxon (pictured), and a few blocks from her mother Janet (My Big Fat Greek Wedding style). She enjoys pre-covid traveling, good coffee, life's simple moments, and learning from all people and cultures.
